Review: The Anti-Bodies – 10/31

The Anti-Bodies are a four-piece punk rock band hailing from Buffalo. The band lists The Ramones, Misfits, Motorhead and anything from the 1950’s as their influences.

The Anti-Bodies song “10/31” starts off more like an ending than a beginning, but it leads into a fast-paced punk riff that, while it may get a bit repetitive, is catchy.

So rarely do we hear female vocalists it was a refreshing change to hear the vocalist, Jez A. Disaster’s voice. Her voice blends well with the song, and catches you off guard at the beginning. The heavier guitar riff leaves you ready for a large, long-haired male metal head to start screaming in your face.

Overall, The Anti-Bodies are a solid. Their punk sound is genuine, and the song leaves me wanting more. These guys (and girl!) are worth checking out!

One thing, though. Their photos were lacking any promo shots of the band with all four members. But don’t worry, I took care of it!
